ACMI is the Australian Centre for the Moving Image - a museum of screen culture that celebrates the universe of film, television, video games, and art located in Melbourne CBD. It is a must visit, if you have an interest in films and gaming culture.

There are always interesting exhibitions, presentations and workshops happening here. ACMI also has a cinema where you can experience a selection of featured films.

General entry is free, but there are special exhibition areas which are at extra cost. The permanent exhibition is called The Story of the Moving Image which features a myriad of interactive installations. I spent an hour or so here and loved how interactive the displays were - I would highly recommend it.
